Southeast Land Title Association
If you are a proud land title professional from Alabama, Georgia, or Mississippi, the Southeast Land Title Association is the group organization for you. With roots dating back to 1966, we honor our industry’s traditions while preparing our members for the future.
SLTA’s dynamic members come from every part of the title space. Together, we are committed to bettering the industry through education, advocacy, and relationship-building efforts at all levels. Rooted in the belief that unity fosters growth and opportunity, more opportunities, SLTA is ready to do what it takes to help support everyone all members through education and networking opportunities.
Who We Are
The Southeast Land Title Association represents three states but has with one singular mission: provide our members what with the tools and education they need so they can to thrive as a title professionals in Mississippi, Alabama, or and Georgia. Our unity and combined resources serve our members well when it comes to tackling the industry’s biggest issues together.
We are a cooperative, open forum, for our members to learn from each other, so we can all succeed. That’s just how things are done in the South.
SLTA History
Southeast Land Title Association is a proud organization with touts more than 50 years of history and heritage, But we have also never been afraid to evolve and we are continuously evolving to better serve the needs of our members.
We were established in 1966, starting out as a social club of like-minded professionals. Though fun events and relationship-building are still important functions of Southeast Land Title Association programs, we’re much more than that. Today, SLTA is a legislative advocacy force in all three of our states, and we fiercely protect our members and their interests.

Member Spotlight
Jeremy Holley
Alabama
Jeremy Holley works for Amrock Alabama Inc., in Cullman, Alabama. He currently serves as the Alabama Membership Chair for SLTA and loves being part of a group of fantastic, passionate, title people. He has been a Southeast Land Title Association member since 2015.
“Membership in SLTA is way more than two in-person meetings a year,” Jeremy says. “It’s about working together to meet the needs of every member in each state.”
Frank Callaway
Georgia
Frank Callaway is a real estate attorney in Atlanta. He has been involved in SLTA for four years and values both the friends he’s made during his time with us and all of the professional tips he has gotten as part of a group that loves solving problems faced by our entire industry.
“I am passionate about the real estate business and love working with other professionals. Most of us are extremely helpful, professional and great to work with,” Frank says.
Terry Weill
Mississippi
Terry Weill is a vice president of Mississippi Valley Title and has been SLTA’s director for Mississippi, a position he has held since 2016. He has been an association member for six years and loves how involved his fellow members are. That commitment allows SLTA to pursue goals and make changes that positively impact title professionals in all three states.
“I have been fortunate to work for almost three decades in various aspects of the real estate transfer industry,” Terry says, “… and have found that the SLTA is second to none in focusing on goals that it believes positively impact all participants in the real estate transfer process.”
